“Jesus said to her, ‘Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.’”
John 4:13-14
we seek to be a community on mission to see people encounter Jesus!

COMMUNITY
Community is our thing! Not only do we love each other inside our walls, we also strive to love people outside our walls. Whether inside or outside, loving God and loving people is our goal.
Acts 2:42-47 (Inside)
Luke 10:25-37 (Good Samaritan) (Outside)

MISSION
To be on mission with God means that we have accepted His invitation to help bring reconciliation to a world that desperately needs reconciliation. This is something we believe God can do on His own, but wants to do with and through us!
Matthew 28:19-20 (The Great Commission)

ENCOUNTER JESUS
We believe encounters with Jesus change lives! Jesus says in John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” We believe that one day in Heaven we will experience the fullness of this abundance that Jesus is talking about in this verse. However, we aren’t the waiting type. We believe Jesus came for us to experience freedom from the thief, and an abundant life HERE and NOW! Jesus offers life changing freedom that is available today!
Our Vision is to be a well within the community of Saline for people to gather and grow in their faith in Jesus Christ. We believe encounters with the living Jesus bring life change through growth!
As we look at wells in biblical days, they were not only a spot for people to gather water, they were also a spot for people to gather and see each other, build community, and talk. We look at a specific story in the bible in John 4, about a woman who met and encountered Jesus at a well, and that encounter with Jesus changed her entire life. She went to the well that day defeated, upset, not wanting to see anyone, but instead encountered Jesus and left full of joy, excitement, and peace. This woman's life was completely changed by meeting Jesus at the well that day. We want to see people experience this kind of encounter; peace in the midst of depression. We want to see families restored. We want to see the unloved, loved. We want to see joy happen even during dark times. We ultimately want to see freedom in this church, and in this community and beyond. And we believe Jesus came to bring us that freedom! Our goal is to be a place in this community where people gather much like they gathered at wells in biblical days, to encounter Jesus, and be changed!
